Terms and Conditions - North Wiltshire Therapy

This online service is not suitable if you are, or have recently been, receiving medication for depression or if you are feeling suicidal. Neither is it suitable for the treatment of addictions, Quitting Smoking or Weight Control. If any of the above issues apply, you should seek help from your doctor and/or a therapist near you.

Disclaimer

The North Wiltshire Therapy website provides an Online Counselling Service which means that we correspond with our clients via Email, Skype Chat or via a Skype Telephone service. The service is provided for those who would like to receive counselling only, and it is important that the client understands and acknowledges what is involved when using our services and is therefore willing to co-operate and follow our set terms and conditions.

Online Services Offered

North Wiltshire Therapy offers both Online Counselling and face-to-face Counselling/Hypnotherapy services. Hypnotherapy services will not be offered as an online service. Our Online Counselling Services will be restricted to issues relating to: Confidence, Stress and Anxiety, Motivation, Sports Performance, Confidence, Goal Setting and Relationships.

Liability

North Wiltshire Therapy holds no responsibility for a user's telephone, a user's computer system, software data or technical difficulty occurring in connection to this website. North Wiltshire Therapy holds no responsibility and holds no liability in regard to any computer viruses or computer corruption to any individual client's computer.

Sessions

Skype Instant chat and Skype Telephone sessions last for 60 minutes (1 hour). Counselling by email will be charged per unit where 1 unit is one exchange of emails (i.e. One email from the client to North Wiltshire Therapy followed by one email from North Wiltshire Therapy to the client).

Payment

Payment is to be made securely via PayPal, which can be used by anyone and you do not need a PayPal account to pay. Full payment is required and our pre-counselling questionnaire must be completed before a session commences.

Discounts

Discounts are offered for purchase of 3 sessions for Live Skype Chat and Skype Telephone counselling only. We do not offer a discount for Email Counselling.

Our Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the appointment start will receive a full refund. If cancellations are made less than 24 hours before your session then we shall refund 50% of your fee. The same policy applies on cancellation of block bookings.

Agreement

• You agree that you are at least 18 years old.
• You agree that you have read and agree with the North Wiltshire Therapy’s Service's Terms and conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
• You understand that North Wiltshire Therapy cannot guarantee a positive Counselling outcome, but we are experienced and are very confident that our work together will be of help to you.
• You agree that online and telephone services may not be as effective for all individuals. Thus, North Wiltshire Therapy reserves the right to choose whether or not to work with you online or by telephone. We will work with you only if we feel that you are a suitable client. If, during our work together, we discover that you may not benefit from online or telephone services, we will discuss this with you and may suggest that you seek alternative support in your local area.
• You agree and understand that the effectiveness of Counselling depends on the investment of time and energy you are willing to make. Generally speaking, the more you invest in it, the more you will get out of it.
• You agree that North Wiltshire Therapy cannot be held responsible for providing services to you in the event of a crisis or emergency situation. While we will do our best to continue to provide services as appropriate if a crisis or emergency develops during our work together, we may recommend that you come to our surgery for a face to face consultation or if you are not local to North Wiltshire Therapy, then we may suggest that you need to find a local Therapist.
• You permanently agree to release and indemnify North Wiltshire Therapy from all suits, claims and actions originating from Counselling provided through our Online Counselling Services (Skype Live Chat, Skype Telephone and Email Counselling).
